We're trusted by brands, retailers, and distributors to provide independent, aggregated market insights, and we partner with members and data providers to strengthen industry reporting and policy outcomes.

Backed by the best

As the peak body of Australia's sporting goods sector, ASGA's leadership comprises a board of experienced industry participants, elected and appointed under our constitution.

9 Directors

Each director serves a two year term on the ASGA Board.

3 + 3 Elected

Three directors represent retail members, three represent wholesale members, elected at the AGM on a staggered basis.

Independents

A number of independent directors are appointed directly by the ASGA Board, alongside the Executive Director.

How the President is chosen. The President of the ASGA Board is appointed by the Board from its own membership, not elected separately by the wider membership base.
